Join us on Monday, May 31, 2021 for the annual Memorial Day Observance

We are excited to welcome back the public for our annual Memorial Day Observance on Monday, May 31st!

Join Us For:
  • A program featuring the noted historian Ryan Roenfeld , author of Secret Omaha and Wicked Omaha
  • The Prospect Hill Preservation Brass Band ensemble, playing traditional music
  • First Nebraska Regiment Civil War re-enactors, presenting the Colors and a 21-gun salute
  • Boy Scouts Troop 88 leading the Pledge of Allegiance
  • and the annual tribute to philanthropist and businesswoman Anna Wilson

Please note:
  • Prospect Hill Cemetery will observe and enforce the CDC guidelines for outdoor activities.  
  • Music begins at 10:45 am. Parking available.
  • Please bring a lawn chair or blanket. 
  • No dogs please - the 21-gun salute frightens them
  • Refreshments will be available for purchase

Admission is FREE but donations welcome. Your donations help with the upkeep of Omaha's oldest, historic Cemetery.
